Privacy Policy

25 August 2025

We take your privacy seriously. To better protect your privacy, we provide this privacy policy notice explaining the way your personal information is collected and used.

Who We Are

Unlayer AI (sole proprietorship) is responsible for how personal data is handled on this website. You can reach us at: Spadinalaan 213, 1031 KB Amsterdam, The Netherlands • hi@unlayer.ai.

Server Logs (Routine Information)

Our hosting provider automatically records standard access logs when you visit the site. These logs typically include your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, date and time of access, and the referrer (the page you came from). We use this information only for security, troubleshooting, and to ensure the site functions correctly. We do not use server logs to build profiles of visitors.

Contact Form

If you choose to contact us using the form provided on this website, you will be asked to enter your name, email address, company name, and a message. This information is collected solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. The data you submit through the contact form may be processed using a third-party service provider, EmailJS, in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We do not use the information submitted through the contact form for marketing purposes or share it with third parties without your consent. We retain the information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. As a rule, we keep contact inquiries for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless we need to retain them longer for ongoing client discussions or legal obligations. By submitting the contact form, you consent to the processing of your provided personal data for the purpose of handling your inquiry. The legal basis for processing is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hi@unlayer.ai; this will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You may also request deletion of your inquiry at any time.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function (for example, basic security and form handling). These do not store personal data.

We do not use analytics, marketing, or other optional cookies. We show a brief informational banner to let you know we use essential cookies only.

This section also serves as our cookie policy.

Third-Party Resources

We do not run advertisements and we do not use analytics on this site. We load certain third-party resources to render the website, such as fonts, icons, and libraries delivered via content delivery networks (CDNs). When your browser requests these assets, the providers may receive your IP address and user agent in order to deliver the files. We do not permit these providers to use this for profiling or marketing on our behalf. Examples include Google Fonts, jsDelivr (for Tailwind), and Font Awesome.

International Transfers

Some service providers we use (such as EmailJS) may process your personal data outside the European Economic Area. When this occurs, appropriate safeguards are applied, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or participation in recognized transfer frameworks. Please refer to their privacy policies linked below for more information.

We have included links on this website for your use and reference. We are not responsible for the privacy policies on these websites. You should be aware that the privacy policies of these websites may differ from our own.
